Field Day

Field Day 2025 is in the bag!

It was a great and successful event. Many thanks to all the helpers and operators. Without you it wouldn’t be possible. A big shoutout to Casey (KV3T) for tallying up the points and compiling a very comprehensive submittal package. The package was uploaded to the ARRL upload page and now we have to wait until the final ranking comes out. Some information out of the report is presented below or you can click on this link to view the complete submittal package online. We had a slightly lower point count then last year but we also experienced much worse band conditions. There is a list of improvements for next year as an outcome from our debriefing meeting. If you have any comments or suggestions what went well or what could be better please send them to me and I will forward it to the appropriate person.

I also would like to send a big thank you to Don (KK9H) and Marty (WD9GYM) for being the Field Day chair and ensuring a smooth event. Unfortunately thy both decided to “retire” from being the field day chair and we are now looking for a replacements. Probably best a team of two individuals. If you have have organizational skills then we need you. Please contact Brian (AB9ZI).
